By accessing or using Smart Money Series ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account for a child, you agree to these terms on their behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Smart Money Series is designed for children ages 6–18. Children under 13 require a parent or guardian to create and manage their account. By creating an account for a child under 13, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to our collection and use of their data as described in our Privacy Policy.
To use the Platform, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Free tier: Limited access to lessons, flashcards, and the book reader. No payment required.
Premium subscription: Full access to all lessons, simulations, Coach Goldie, stock simulator, parent dashboard, and all features.
All payments are processed securely by Paystack. We do not store your payment card details.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Refund policy: If you are unsatisfied with the Platform, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment. Contact [email protected] with your refund request. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
When using Smart Money Series, you agree not to:
All content on Smart Money Series — including lessons, simulations, stories, characters (Lili, Goldie, Coach Goldie), book text, illustrations, game mechanics, and code — is owned by Smart Money Series and protected by copyright law. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially use any content without our written permission.
Content created by users within the Platform (such as community posts or tracker entries) remains the property of the user. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the Platform.
Books purchased through our Book Shop (via Selar or Lulu) are for personal use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell any book content. Digital books may be read on any personal device. Print books are non-returnable unless defective.
Smart Money Series provides financial education for children. We are not financial advisors. The Platform does not provide investment advice, tax advice, or financial planning services. All simulations use fictional scenarios and virtual currency. No real money is at risk in any simulation or game.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Money Series and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We continuously improve Smart Money Series. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for any changes that materially affect your subscription.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Accra, Ghana.
